The Colne and Holme Valleys
Huddersfield sits where two steep valleys meet, and that shapes every job here. Up the Colne Valley — Milnsbridge, Golcar, Slaithwaite and Marsden — and through the Holme Valley — Honley, Holmfirth, Meltham and Netherton — the houses climb the hillsides in stone terraces, with long flights of steps up from the road and tight turns on the way in. Getting a piano out of them is exactly the sort of work we do best.
Grand villas to weavers’ cottages
The town has every kind of house a piano might be hiding in. The big Victorian villas of Edgerton, Lindley and Almondbury often hold full uprights and the odd grand, while the older cottages and terraces around Paddock, Marsh, Newsome and Berry Brow are full of family uprights that stopped being played years ago. Whatever it is and wherever it’s standing, we’ll carry it out and recycle as much of it as we can.
A local firm, one fixed price
Being a Yorkshire firm on home ground means we’re usually passing through Huddersfield anyway, so collection is quick and the price stays keen. Send us a photo of the piano and tell us where it’s standing, and we’ll give you one fixed, all-in price to take it away — no hourly rates and nothing added on the day.
