Piano disposal in Sheffield
Old piano to get rid of in Sheffield? We cover the whole city — the leafy west side, the student terraces and everywhere between — carrying your piano out and taking it away to be recycled, from £174 inc VAT.
A hilly city full of old pianos
Sheffield’s prosperous western suburbs — Ecclesall, Dore, Totley, Fulwood, Ranmoor and Nether Edge — are full of large Victorian and Edwardian houses, and plenty of them have a piano nobody plays any more. Across the rest of the city, terraced homes in Crookes, Walkley, Hillsborough and Heeley are much the same.
Built on hills — and so are the houses
Sheffield’s famous hills mean flights of stone steps up to front doors, steeply banked gardens and split-level layouts. Moving a 250kg piano out of that safely is exactly what our team and kit are made for. You won’t lift a thing.
A clear price and responsible disposal
Get in touch and we’ll give you a firm, all-in price. Once collected, the piano is stripped down so the metal, timber and other materials can be recycled.
Piano disposal in Sheffield — your questions
Do you dispose of pianos in Sheffield?+
Yes — Sheffield is an area we cover. We carry the piano out of the home for you and take it away to be recycled. Send a photo and we’ll give you a fixed price from £174 inc VAT.
How much does piano disposal cost in Sheffield?+
Disposals start from £174 including VAT. The exact price depends on the type of piano (upright or grand), which floor it’s on and the access. We confirm an all-in figure before we come — nothing added on the day.
Will you take a piano that’s upstairs or hard to reach?+
Yes. We use piano skates, ramps and straps and are used to awkward staircases, cellars and external steps. You won’t need to move the piano an inch before we arrive.
What happens to the piano afterwards?+
We strip it down and separate the materials so as much as possible is recycled. You can read more about how we recycle pianos.
