Ilkley, Wharfedale and the hill villages
The affluent villages of Wharfedale — Ilkley, Ben Rhydding, Burley-in-Wharfedale, Addingham and Menston — are full of substantial stone houses, and a good number of them have a piano that’s no longer played. We know the area well and collect here regularly.
Huddersfield, Halifax and the Calder Valley
The Calder Valley is one of the trickiest places in the country to move a piano — think Hebden Bridge, Mytholmroyd and Todmorden, where houses cling to the hillside with dozens of steps up from the road, or “top-and-bottom” houses reached from different levels. Awkward is exactly what we’re built for, and we’ve carried plenty of pianos up and down those famous steps.
One fixed price, however hard the access
We’ll always quote you a firm price up front, based on a photo of the piano and the route out. No hourly rates, no “access surcharge” on the day — just an honest figure to take it away and recycle it.
